Harry "Sammy" Samuel Stalnaker, age 72, of Fort White was surrounded by his loving family and went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Haven Hospice Care Center. He was born on April 10, 1945 and raised in Fort White, Florida. He worked as a Commercial Fisherman and Shrimper for over twenty years, with one of his greatest accomplishments being "the Captain" of the Glenda K out of Pensacola, Florida. Sammy enjoyed Florida State football, NASCAR Racing, and most importantly spending time with his family.
Sammy is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Eva; one brother Pete, one sister Shirley, and a grandson Caleb Parrish.
Sammy is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Donna Owen-Stalnaker and eleven children; Lisa Stalnaker, Diane Stalnaker, Jennifer Owen, Dana Siegmund (John Siegmund), Cecelia Stalnaker-Cauwenberghs (Dennis Cauwenberghs), Sam Stalnaker (JoAnn Stalnaker), Amanda Clemons (Mitchell Clemons), Christina Stalnaker-Robinson (Christopher Robinson), Helen Mincey (Darrell Mincey), Brian Stalnaker (Megan Hewett), Arthur Stalnaker (Konnor Stalnaker), and 22 grandchildren.
