Gail Richter Lochner, age 88, was born on September 16, 1936, in Marion, Indiana and passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Butler, Florida, on January 21, 2025, surrounded by her family.
As an apartment complex manager, she was known not only for her hard work and professionalism but also for her warm heart and approachable nature. Her home was always a vibrant reflection of her passion for gardening, filled with beautiful flowers that she tenderly tended to. Gail’s zest for life was further expressed through her love of travel, particularly cherished moments spent exploring with her mother. These experiences enriched her life, allowing her to cultivate fond memories that she would share with family over the years.
Above all else, Gail treasured the time she spent with her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Rae (Ray) Carbone and Karla Lochner, who will forever hold dear the lessons and love their mother imparted. As a grandmother, she embraced her role wholeheartedly, taking joy in the lives of her grandchildren, Chanel Dupree, Erica Adkins, Kenneth Tuten, and Kyle Tuten, as well as her great-grandchildren, Valerie, Cadence, Aydan, Emitt, and Ezabel. Each one brought immense joy to her life, and she reveled in every opportunity to be part of their journeys. Gail is also survived by her brother, Glenn Richter of Bradenton, FL.
As we remember Gail Richter Lochner, we celebrate a life well-lived, enriched by family and fond memories that will be carried forward by those who loved her dearly. Gail graciously chose to have her body donated to further medical research. Archer-Milton Funeral Home is honored to coordinate her final disposition request for her family. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
