Mrs. Frankie Roccaforte Hardee Vaughn Giddens, 74 of Ft. White passed away peacefully Saturday March 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. Mrs. Giddens was born on July 24, 1938 in Jasper, Fl to the late Tony Roccaforte and Evo McClain, she lived most of her life in Lake City and Lake Butler. Mrs. Giddens was an assembly line person for many years and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist church in Ft. White. Mrs. Giddens was preceded in death by her Daughter Ramona Hardee and sister Frances "Jonnie" Ware. Mrs. Giddens is survived by her husband Charles Giddens of Ft. White; daughter Bridgett Diedeman (Tommy) of Ft. White; sons James Fred Hardee, Jr. of Lake Butler, Frank "Terry" Hardee of Gainesville and Ed Giddens (Carol) of Las Vegas, NV; Brother Don A. Sprow (Melody) of Lake Butler; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren along with many cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services for Mrs. Giddens will be conducted on Saturday March 23, 2013 at 11a.m. in the Shiloh Baptist Church in Ft. White with Rev. Earl Tuten officiating; internment will follow at Dekle Cemetery in Lake Butler. There is no visitation scheduled.
