Frances Jones

Francis Oliver Jones, 98 of Lake Butler passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9th, 2014 at Governors Creek Health and Rehab Center in Green Cove Springs. She was born in Monticello, Florida on July 7, 1916 to the late Jeff Oliver and Mattie Oliver. Francis was a member of the Little Rock Church in Lake Butler, Fl, where she served as a faithful and dedicated member.
She was a GOD fearing woman who put GOD first in her life. She was given the gifts of love, joy, wisdom and peace and shared her gifts with everyone she touched. Francis had a heart of gold and it showed in her life and how she treated people, along with an unforgettable sense of humor. She fought a good fight and kept her faith strong. She would often say "GOD has blessed and when he comes to take me home, I will be ready".
Francis was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin A. Jones and son, James T. Jones (Walter).
Left to cherish her memories: Dorean Franklin, sister; Ollie Wright, sister; Calvin C. Oliver, brother and Julia Oliver, sister in law; Benjamin Franklin, Jr.; Ethel Rials; Catherine Filer and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and children she helped raise.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Jones will be held Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Little Rock Church in Lake Butler, Fla. Burial will follow at FT. Call Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Archer Funeral Home. The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008
