Mrs. Etna "Faye" Chancey King, 76 of Starke, Florida passed away Friday morning May 11, 2018 at Shands Hospital. Born in Patterson, Georgia on May 24, 1941, Mrs. King was the daughter of the late Mauldin and Dorothy Chancey. She was a native of Patterson but lived most of her life in Starke, Florida. Faye worked as a cosmetologist her adult life. She was a long-time member of Heilbronn Springs Baptist Church where she was actively involved in many ministries such as the teacher for the Womens Sunday School class. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her brother, Lyndell Chancey and sister, Anita Chancey. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James "Lowell" King of Starke; her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Stephanie King of Patterson, Georgia; her son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Debbie King of Starke; sister, Charlotte Chancey Thrift of Patterson; brother-in-law, Jerome and Marie King of Fayetteville, North Carolina; her grandchildren Lindsey and Kevin Crawford of Starke; Zachary and Skyler King of Starke; Caleb and Emilie King of Waycross, Georgia; Shayna and Michael Moore of Starke; Sarah Beth King of Patterson, Georgia; six great grandchildren; Kevin and Kandan Crawford; Gunner King; Michael, Noah and Shay'lynn Moore. Also, special nieces and nephews, Shawn Crews Smith, Bryan and Brad Crews, Mitzi and Doug Hodges, Michelle McKinney, and Marisa Phillips. A home going celebration for Mrs. King will take place Saturday morning May 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Heilbronn Springs Baptist Church.
