Emily Rose Bates

Princess Emily Rose Bates entered into her heavenly castle on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the age of 3. While her reign on this Earth was short, it was impactful. She loved everyone and everything. Little Emily loved being her mommy’s little monster and her daddy’s little ERB. She would dance when mommy or daddy played music, race her dog Shadow when mommy would throw the ball, and pretend she was a Disney Princess alongside Elsa and Moana. Even though she only lived in Macclenny a short while, it was her home and she was loved by many and touched many lives.

Emily leaves behind her mommy and daddy (Cody and Amanda Bates) of Macclenny; on her Mother’s side: Grandma, Papa, Grandpa, Aunt Lindsey, and Uncle Joe; on her Daddy’s side: Nana, Mamal, Mimi, Uncle Jimmy, Uncle Matt, and Uncle Clinton; bestest of friends Peeka and Mindy, as well as numerous extended family and friends also survive. Emily may be gone but she will never be forgotten.

Princess Emily’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 18, at 3:30 pm at Raiford Road Church in Macclenny. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 2:00 pm at the church, please consider wearing Purple to honor Emily as this was her favorite color.
