Emanuel, “Billy”/“The Greek”, Klondes, age 78, passed away on April 18, 2023, at UF Health Shands Gainesville. Born November 15, 1944, to Mike and Hazel Johns Klondes, Billy has been a lifelong resident of Starke. He was a self-employed business man. Billy enjoyed watching movies, telling stories, and had a fasination for airplanes. More than anything Billy loved spending time with his beloved dog, Buster. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Hazel; his former wife, Barbara Jean Teststone; and step-daughter, Sheena Norman.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Angie (Eric) Wall of Starke; step-son, Randy (Maxine) Corbin of Starke; grandsons, Jamie (Pam) Griffis, Casey (Kristi) Griffis, Dylan Corbin, Chad (Kayla) Corbin, and Gary Norman; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A service to honor Billy’s life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, April 24, 2023, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00am. Billy will be laid to rest immediately following the service next to his father at Dekle Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Bro. Gene Bass.
