Edward Russell "Rusty" Blackmon

Edward Russell "Rusty" Blackmon of Lake City passed away on March 6, 2025, in Lake Butler. He was born November 11, 1941, in Lake City to the late Edward and Lila Blackmon.

Rusty is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Annetta Russ.

Rusty is survived by his wife Rose Blackmon; children, Shawna, John, Destiny, Amy, and Dylan Blackmon; siblings, William "Billy" (Coral) Blackmon of Wellborn, Cliff Blackmon of Lake City, Wayne (Caterina) Blackmon of Polk County, Ralph Blackmon of Polk County, Doris Blackmon of Naples, Patty Blackmon of Polk County, and Sandy Blackmon of Polk County; his stepmother, Liz Blackmon of Polk County; sister-in-law, Debbie Sorrel of Polk County; and numerous nieces and nephews.
