Edna Parramore

Reverend, Edna Josephine Parramore, 90,  passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 5th. She was born in Cottonwood, Alabama the 1st month, 29th day, 1931 to the late Chesley Parramore and Veanie Parramore. Her family moved to Starke, Florida when she was 10 years old. She is proceeded in death by her sister, Gwendolyn Dickinson of Starke, Florida. She is survived by her sister, Ozell Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida and brother, Chesley Abner Parramore (Carolyn) of Nahunta, Georgia and numerous cousins, nephews, neices, and FRIENDS.

Ms. Parramore had many people whom she considered as family in Christ.
Reverend Edna Parramore lived a life serving her Lord and she was an ordained minister in the Congregational Methodist Church in 1980 . She was a member of Watertown Congregational Methodist Church in Lake City, Florida. She pastored Pine Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Starke, Florida for 12 years and led a lifetime of ministry. She was a mission worker in the Congregational Holiness Church  and accepted the call to preach in 1962.  Rev. Parramore was employed as a government employee at Naval Air Station in Jacksonville Florida for 20 years when she retired. She worked in the bering shop. She really enjoyed working there. She loved all people and lived a long wonderful life serving our
Lord and Saviour  Jesus Christ.

Let the gentle rain soak in...Then you will have the moisture to grow and not be weary and weak.....  Along the way God will increase your strength and will give you the power to overcome with grace and faith.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 12 at Pine Grove Congregational Methodist Church, NE County Road 199 in Raiford, Florida. A viewing will be held at 10:00 am and
the service will be conducted at 11:00 am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler, Florida which are highly recommended by many.
