Eason Ward Crawford

Eason Ward Crawford 77, of Lake City passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City with his family at his side. Mr. Crawford was born July 3, 1936 in Plant City, to the late Daniel and Artie Blume Crawford. Mr. Crawford has lived in Ellisville for the last 43 years were he owned and operated his own trucking business and farm. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening in which he gave most of the vegetables to his friends.
Mr. Crawford loved taking care of his farm and enjoyed time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by a Sister: Jeanette Knight and Brothers: Ollie, T. H. and Vernon Crawford.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Vivian Norris Crawford
Daughters; Lynne Crawford Vaughn (Butch) of Lake City and Karen Jones (Justin) of Trenton
Son: Doug Crawford (Michelle) of Trenton
Brothers: J. T. Crawford (Lillian) of Chiefland and Lester Crawford (Ilene) of Providence
Six Grandchildren: Amy Roberts; Brett Crawford; Alyce McCarty; KayLee Crawford; Justus Jones and Carson Jones
Three Great grandchildren: Kaleb Roberts; Kiaya Roberts; and Adeline Robson

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Columbia Baptist Church with Rev. Darryl Tomlison officiating. Family invites friends for visitation that will begin at 10:00 a.m. an hour prior to services. Burial will follow in the Crawford Family Cemetery.
