Dorothy Bradberry Crutchfield

The only daughter of Jacob Asbury Bradberry and Martha 'Mable' Phillips Bradberry. Graduated Andrew Jackson High School in 1946 and attended Stetson University from 1947-1950. She married Ralph Eldridge Crutchfield in 1950. They were married for 64 years until his death December 14, 2013. They resided in High Springs, St. Petersburg and Jacksonville, Fl from 1963 until their deaths. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Melinda Crutchfield Sommer, a son, Stephen Crutchfield and his wife Donna Thomas Crutchfield. 2 grandsons, Christopher Crutchfield and Thomas Crutchfield. 5 granddaughters, Jamie Sommer Day and Dr. Jonathan Day, Elizabeth Sommer Osborne and Brent Osborne, Caroline Sommer Frank and Richie Frank, Brittany Sommer and her Fiance Steven Cindric and Jessie Jane Sommer. 6 Great Grand Children - Andrew, William, Evelyn and Lillian Day, Ryker and Charlotte Frank. Dorothy taught elementary school before focusing on being a stay at home mom. She loved being around people and to travel. While she will be missed, she will never be forgotten. She was a good role model who had a positive influence on those around her.
The family has ask in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the hospice care of your choice. A private burial is being held with family at High Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home in Butler. 386-496-2008
