Dolores Brocato

Ms. Dolores Bacon Brocato, age 84, passed away on October 15, 2020 at the Douglas Center in Jacksonville, FL. She was born August 30, 1936 in Eustis, FL to the late Oscar and Fronita Bacon. Ms. Brocato was a true artist; she painted, played the piano, and wrote poetry. She also enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and being close to her children. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Salvatore Anthony “Tony” Brocato; and two sisters, Verona Romero and Diane Lamb.

Ms. Brocato is survived by her 4 children, Lori (Bruce) Dugan, Amy Brocato, Nita Brocato, Bart (Marie) Brocato; 9 grandchildren, Nita “Boogie” Brocato, Vincent Godbolt, Carl Hutton, Miranda Kimball, John Hutton, Kaitlynn and Tera Morefield, and Josh and Leslie Duncan.

A graveside service to honor Ms. Brocato will be held on Monday, October 19th at 1:00pm at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville, FL. Archer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
