Dara Crosby Goodson

Dara Crosby Goodson, 63, of Brooker, FL, entered eternal life on March 16, 2017. Dara was born in Columbia, South Carolina, to Lane Minter and Betty Jo Goodson. He was a resident of Brooker, FL for 28 years. Mr. Goodson received his Bachelor's degree from Florida Southern College. He was a Math teacher at Middleburg High School for 12 years. Dara was an active member of First Baptist Church of Lake Butler, Fl. He enjoyed fishing, disc golf, biking, and traveling. Above all, Dara enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Goodson leaves his family to cherish his memory. He is survived by his parents, Lane and Betty Jo Goodson. Dara is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Cheryl Goodson. He is also survived by their two children; Antoinette Goodson Brooker, FL and her daughter Carly Ann Goodson and Jake Goodson (Genie) of Gainesville, FL. Dara is survived by two brothers and two sisters; Melanie Narakwicz (Tony) of Tennessee; Robin Carr (Tom) of Tennessee; Minter Goodson (Andrea) of Lakeland, FL; and Lief Goodson of Lakeland, FL.
