Danny Pinkston

Mr. Danny Pinkston, 64, of Lake Butler, was surrounded by his family when he passed away peacefully on March 12, 2021, at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL following a sudden illness. Danny was born on October 14, 1956 in Union County to Henry and Nanazee Thomas Pinkston. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Butler and a 1975 graduate of Union County High School. After graduation, he began his career in the produce business. Danny owned and operated his own business and was deeply passionate about his work. He was an outgoing person, loved people, and never met a stranger. Most of all, he loved his family and friends. Danny was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Tommy Pinkston; and sister, June Pinkston.

Danny is survived by his son, Rex David Pinkston of Worthington Springs; two grandsons, J.C. and Jackson; two brothers, Henry Roger (Kay) Pinkston of Worthington Springs and Timmy (Pat) Pinkston of Lulu; three sisters, Nancy Hodgson of Lulu, Terrie (Angus) Rimes of Worthington Springs, and Jean (John) Hampton of Macclenny; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends also survive.

A funeral to honor Danny’s life will be held on Monday, March 15, at 11:00 am at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 am at the funeral home. His interment will follow at Old Providence Cemetery. Services will be officiated by O David Crawford and Michael Green. Out of the respect of the family and friends, we are asking to please wear face coverings if planning to attend.
