Cynthia Carlton Thornton

Cynthia Carlton Thornton, age 65, of Raiford, FL, passed away on January 17, 2022, at her home. She was born on January 21, 1956, at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL, to Ernest and Elsie Linzy Carlton. She spent her whole life in Bradford and Union Counties. Cynthia worked for the Bradford County School Board in a variety of roles, mainly janitorial and culinary until her retirement. She was a caring and devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. Cynthia preceded in death by her father, Ernest and her brother Ernest, Jr.

Cynthia is survived by her mother, Elsie Carlton of Raiford; her daughter, Wendy (St. Claire) Sefcik of Lake Butler; grandchildren, Savanna, Falina, and Tucker Sefcik; and brother, Eric Carlton of Raiford.
