Curtis Oliver Waters, Sr.

Curtis Oliver Waters, Sr., age 58, passed away at his home on July 10, 2023. Curtis was born on August 28, 1964, in Lake City, Florida. From a young age, it was clear that he possessed a unique sense of humor that always managed to brighten even the dullest of days. He had an incredible ability to find joy in the simplest of things. Curtis enjoyed spending time with his dogs, mowing the lawn on sunny afternoons, and picking corn in his backyard. These seemingly mundane activities brought him immense happiness. A family man, Curtis's love for his friends and family knew no bounds. He cherished the moments spent with them and always went above and beyond to ensure their happiness. Curtis is preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Douglas Little and his son, Curtis Oliver Waters, Jr.

Curtis is survived by his son, Robert Waters-Ostrander; his father, Robert (Patricia) Waters; brothers, Robert "Bobby" Waters Jr. and Dennis Waters; three grandchildren; half sister, Gena Bell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A graveside service to honor Curtis's life will be held on July 14, 2023 at Oak Grove Cemetery beginning at 10:00am. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
