Corine Bryan

Ms. Corine Bryan, age 75, of Lake Butler passed away peacefully on June 8, 2021. Corine was born October 29, 1945 in Wellborn, FL to the late Fred and Nettie Stanford Whaley. She was a devoted housewife who loved her family. She enjoyed working in her yard, playing rummy, reading her Bible and playing with her puppy Pebbles. Corine loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Sardis Baptist Church. She is preceded by the love of her life, Jerry Bryan, Sr.; her sisters, Alice Boyette, Dollie Whaley, Elizabeth Whaley, Willa Mae Peake, and Florence Whaley; her brothers, Lim Whaley, Sid Whaley, and Fred Whaley, Jr.

Corine is survived by her children, George Whaley of Lake City, Dennis Whaley (Tina) of Macclenny, Debra Baggett (Michael) of Lake Butler, and Jerry Bryan (Mechelle) of Lake Butler; her sister, Mildred (Robert) Hansford of Crestview; her grandchildren, Sara, Dennis, Tiffany, Lauren, Brock, Ashlei, Jeremy, Savannah, Scott, Zack, Cheyenne, and Dakota; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A service to honor Corine’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 12th  at Sardis Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00am. She will be laid to rest at Old Town Cemetery in Old Town, FL following the service. Brother Paul O’Steen will be officiating the services.
