Constance "Connie" Renee Tanner, born on May 26, 1949, in Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on February 12, 2025, at Magnolia Ridge Health and Rehab after an extended illness. She was 75 years old.
Connie began working in banking before transitioning to a full-time housewife, dedicating her life to her loved ones. Her passion for family and commitment to her household were evident to all who knew her. A longstanding member of Olena Baptist Church, Connie was very active in her church community, embodying the values of friendship and support that she held dear.
In her leisure, Connie found joy in dining out and traveling with her beloved husband, Bart Tanner, with whom she shared an enduring partnership of 55 years. Together they created lasting memories, enjoying adventures that enriched their lives and connections with one another.
Connie is survived by her loving sister, Beverly (Tommy) Greenwood; her sons, Christopher (Donna) Tanner and Randy Tanner; along with six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bart Tanner and her parents, Fred and Vivian Thomas.
Services to celebrate Connie's life will be held on February 15, 2025. A visitation will take place at Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler, FL, from 11:00am to 12:00pm. This will be followed by a graveside service at Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake City, FL.
