Connie B Lavender Wall

Connie B Lavender Wall, age 81 passed away peacefully on Monday March 10, 2025, at her home in Hampton FL. Connie was born on March 3, 1944, in Rutherford County, NC and was the daughter of the late T.P. and Willie Mae Byers. She worked at Spindale Mills in Spindale NC for over 20 years and later worked at Florida Works in Starke FL for 10 years where she retired.

She is preceded in death by a brother Wendell Byers, and three sisters Gertie Tesseneer, Rita Walker, and Kay Wilson.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years Buren Wall of Hampton, FL, sons Kevin Lavender and wife Tammie of Gilkey, NC, Joey Lavender and wife Sherry of Bostic, NC, Allen Wall and wife Susanne of Spartanburg, SC, Bryan Wall and wife Lynda of Rutherfordton, NC, sisters Brenda Carter and husband Jerry of Forest City, NC, Louann Bennett and husband Jerry of Ellenboro, NC; brother Wayne Byers and his wife Judy of Forest City, NC; 5 grandchildren Jesse Lavender currently in the US Navy, Jason Williams of Gilkey NC, Miranda Lovelace of Forest City NC, Harlie Alley of Spindale NC, five great grandchildren Elizabeth Lovelace, and Elijah Lovelace both of Forest City NC, Presley Taylor, Edward Deadman of Spindale NC and one on the way, numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude's children Hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital, or Wolfson Children's Hospital.
