Charles Lyman Green, Jr 72 of Lake Butler passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Green was born August 16, 1941 in Jacksonville to the late Charles Lyman Green Sr. and Vestine Howard. He worked and lived in Lake Butler most of his life, owning and running Lyman Greens Bar-B-Que Restaurants with his father in Lake Butler and Daughter and Son in Macclenny for 10 years. Mr. Green was a veteran serving our country for four years in the Air Force. He was a member of the First Untied Methodist Church in Lake Butler.
Mr. Green is survived by his daughter: Elizabeth Frigo, husband Michael of Macclenny; Son: Charles L. Green, III, wife Karen of Macclenny; Two grandchildren: Morgan Green and James Lyman Green both of Macclenny; Brother: AC Green of Glen St Mary, Eddie Roberts of Palatka, Dennis Roberts of Lake City, and Bill Roberts of Madison; Sister: Ruth Green of Macclenny; Two aunts: Sevena Baum of Neptune Beach and Doris Moore of Live Oak; and his loving dog Denny
Funeral Services for Mr. Green will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Archer Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Family invites friends for visitation at 1:00 pm an hour prior to funeral services. The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008
