Charles "Charlie" Eatmon, born on January 18, 1959, in Lake City, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on February 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Charles was preceded in death by his father, George Dewey Eatmon; his mother, Eloise Chambers Williams; his brother, Lynn Eatmon; and his daughter, Lindsey Eatmon. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Eatmon; his daughter, Summer Eatmon; and his son, Ryan (Lauren) Lee. He was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren: India Stevens, Jessa Lee, and Colton Lee. He will also be remembered by his three sisters: Carol Eatmon (Vaughn) Smith, Norma (Pat) Naber, and Frankie Eatmon (Mark) Johnson, his three fur babies: Bo, Brandy, and Big Man; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Charlie grew up in Lake City and attended Columbia County High School where he graduated in 1978. Charlie then spent 25 years of his career as a correctional officer at RMC before retiring in April 2008. After retirement, he found joy in farming, riding motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. His enthusiasm for the outdoors was not only a personal but also extended to his community, as he volunteered at Bradford Sportsmen's Farm since 2015.

A visitation for Charles Eatmon will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler, Florida. The visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
