Charles B. Bembry of Lake Butler passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023, following a sudden illness. He was born in Live Oak, FL to the late Charlie Earl Bembry and Ella Mae Bembry on June 1, 1952.
He served his country with pride and honor through the US Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Following his courageous service to our country, Charles worked in the construction trade for many years, up until he became disabled. He was known for his hard work and fought hard for what he believed in. He battled and beat many surgeries, illnesses, and was an extremely proud cancer survivor.
Charles had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and canning vegetables. He also loved to play poker with his buddies. His greatest passion in life was his family, especially those that called him Pa!
Charles leaves behind two daughters, Jessica (Chuck) Crews and Angela (Jason) Bailey; grandchildren Logan Tomlinson, Kayleigh Bembry, Brooklyn Crews, Darren (Emily) Luhm, and Justin Ivey; and two great-grandchildren Willow and Jackson Luhm. Charles is also survived by his mother, Ella Mae Bembry; brothers Dan Bembry and Alvin (Sheila) Bembry; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Charles was a great man that will truly be missed by so many of us. Rest in Peace Dad/Pa. We love you eternally and know that you'll be watching over us from heaven.
