Carolyn Carter McLeod

Carolyn Carter McLeod of Bryceville, died in the early morning hours, Thursday January 27th from complications that arose from a surgery earlier the day before. She was 74 when she went home to be with the Lord.

            Mrs. McLeod was born in Huntington, WV and grew up in Ohio. She moved to Florida when she was 18. She loved the Lord Jesus and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Jacksonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Vivian Carter of South Point, Ohio. Survivors include her husband, Elliott McLeod of Bryceville; two daughters, Carolyn Christine Beverly of Bryceville and Michele Shinholser of Raleigh, NC; a brother, Clyde Carter of South Point, Ohio and a sister, Patricia Jordan of Middleburg; 3 grandchildren, Christina Carrasco of Copperas Cove, TX, Cody Shinholser and Lance Shinholser of Raleigh, NC; and 3 great grandchildren, Aaron, Isaiah, and Lilyana Carrasco of Copperas Cove, Tx.

The viewing will be Wednesday, February 2nd at 6pm at Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler, Florida. The funeral will be held Thursday, February 3rd at 2pm also at Archer-Milton Funeral Home with a small graveside service at Elzey Chapel Cemetery.
