Bryant C Baker

Bryant C. Baker, age 69, passed away on February 22, 2025, at the Lake City Medical Center in Florida. Born on May 16, 1955, in Hammond, Illinois, Bryant's life was marked by dedication to both his family and his profession.

Bryant pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a field that ignited his passion for technology, where he thrived in creating video games and software. His career began at a tech company, but his greatest fulfillment came when he chose to become a stay-at-home dad, dedicating his time to raising and nurturing his six children: Brandy, Beverly, Arthur, Samual, Nina, and June. His generous spirit and nurturing nature left a profound impact on his family.

Prior to his career in technology, Bryant served an impressive 17 years in the United States Army. His military service included roles in artillery and as a drill sergeant, where he demonstrated leadership and commitment to those under his command.

Bryant is survived by his children; his siblings, Donna and Don, and his beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Gabby, and Hermione, Paige, Lakelyn, and Preston who brought joy to his life. We can't forget those that weren't blood but are still close family, Joseph. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila, and his parents, Donald and Betty Baker.

A visitation in honor of his life will be held on February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Archer-Milton Funeral Home located at 55 N Lake Ave, Lake Butler, FL 32054. This will be followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, also at the same location.
