Brinkley "Bud" Tucker Sr

Brinkley L. "Bud" Tucker, Sr. 77, of Brooker passed away August, 10, 2016. Mr. Tucker was born in Suwannee County, FL to the late Laura Turner and Brinkley E. Tucker, Jr., but had lived in Brooker since 1965 after moving there from Jacksonville, FL. Mr. Tucker had been the Marshal in Brooker, a longtime member of Brooker's Volunteer Fire Department, and a Member of Brooker Baptist Church. Mr. Tucker retired from General Electric in Alachua and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his son Brinkley "Sport" Tucker, Jr.



Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife of 52 years Mamie Tucker, his daughters Lisa Lundy (Jack) of Jacksonville, FL and Tootsie Young (David) of Starke, FL, a daughter-in-law Rebekah Tucker of Brunswick, GA, a brother Joey, his sisters Barbara Sue, JoAnn, and Laurie, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.



Funeral services for Mr. Tucker will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Brooker Baptist Church in Brooker. Interment will follow with Military Honors in Dedan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM Friday evening. Arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler (386) 496-2008.
