Beverly Ann Moody

Ms. Beverly Crawford Moody, age 58, of Sanderson, FL passed away peacefully on July 10, 2020 at the Parklands Rehab and Nursing Center in Gainesville, FL. Beverly was born on October 18, 1961, to the late Leroy and Ms. Jewell Thomas Zihal. She grew up in Union County and was a graduate of Union County High 1978. She was a stay at home mom while her son was growing up and in 2003, she went to work for the Department of Corrections. She worked at Baker CI for the last 17 years and absolutely loved her job. Outside of work, Beverly’s passion was her granddaughter, Myla.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leroy Crawford and by her nephew, Chuck Howard.

Ms. Beverly is survived by her son, Charlie (Loneshia Underwood) Moody of Raiford, FL; her granddaughter, Myla Moody of Adel, GA; her mother, Jewell Zihal of Lake City, FL; her siblings, Cynthia (Jim) Stevens of Turkey Creek, FL, Libby Crawford of Lake City, FL, Brantley (Sara) Crawford of Live Oak, FL, and Priscilla (Charles) Roberts of Brooker, FL; father of her son, Charles Moody of Raiford, FL; special cousin Craig Carter; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

There will be a funeral service to honor Beverly’s life on Wednesday, July 15, at 11:00 am at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 am (one hour before service) at the funeral home. Bro. Terry Elixson will be officiating the services.
