Arthur Chatman

Arthur Wayne Chatman 77, of Gainesville passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on July 9, 1937 to the late Ark Chatman and Ola Mae Denny. Mr. Chatman served in the Air Force for three years. He is preceeded in death by his daughter Deborah Rehberg.
Mr. Chatman is survived by his loving wife for over 58 years LaVonne Edwards Chatman; Daughters: Rebecca Chatman, Betty Jane Simon, and Nancy Williams; Son: Carl Chatman; Five grandchildren: William, Freddie, Alphonso, Micheal, and Ashley; Six great grandchildren.
The family will conduct a memorial service for Mr. Chatman Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at St. Johns Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Lee officiating. The arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008
