Admiral Shirley Piper

Admiral Shirley Piper, 78, of Clermont, FL passed away on August 5, 2017. Admiral was born on March 11, 1939 in Gainesville, FL to the late Shirley and Rubye Piper. After high school, he signed with the Cleveland Indians to play baseball. Admiral proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He loved Florida Gator football, reading, and gardening. Admiral leaves his family to cherish his precious memory.
Admiral Piper is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Joyce Piper. He is survived by one son, Eric Piper; daughter in law, Idy Piper; two grandchildren, Jasmine and Daniel. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to your favorite charity in honor of Admiral Piper.
