Mr. Adam James Erdman, age 48, of Lake Butler, FL passed away on July 18, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 15, 1972 in Smithtown, NY to Peter Erdman and Ilene A. Daly. He moved to and grew up in Starke, FL but went to Union County High School and graduated with the Class of 1990. After graduation, Adam enlisted in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. After his service, he moved to Gainesville and eventually to Lake Butler in 2015. He worked with the State of Florida for 15 years. He was a member of the Bradford Lodge #35, Free and Accepted Masons. He was an avid fisherman, he loved riding his “Blaze” 4 wheeler, and collecting guns. He is preceded in death by both his parents and his brother, Timothy Erdman.
Adam is survived by his wife of 24 years, Wendi Erdman of Lake Butler, FL; his daughter, Abbigail Erdman of Lake Butler, FL; sister, Sharon Gallina of Middleburg, FL; nephews, Joey Erdman and David Erdman; nieces, LeAnn Erdman and Michelle Cerniglairo; close friends, Oscar Shipley, Matt Barber and Winston Barber, and numerous friends and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life to honor Adam will be held on Saturday, September 19, at 11:00 am at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be officiated by Pastor Ricky Stone. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008. www.archerfuneralhome.com
